AI Enabled Digital and Agile Enterprise

Putting into practice the AI Enabled Agile and Digital Enterprise

This training helps you put into practice the AI Enabled Agile and Digital Enterprise on an end-to-end case study

AI Enabled Agile and Digital Enterprise (A 3-day training)

Objective : This course aims to help attendees put into practice the AI Enabled Agile and Digital Enterprise, empowered by AI / Reinforcement Learning mechanisms on Sparx EA and execution tools.

The Problem encountered by Every Enterprise : The Strategy-Execution Gap

Traditional businesses struggle because the Strategic Value Delivery (the plan depicted on the top left corner of the above figure) is defined on a quarterly or an annual cycle, but the Disruptive Digital Environment on the right corner changes hourly.

This creates a massive gap between planning and reality.

The Solution : A Value-Driven Control Loop

This framework closes that gap using AI Agents powered by the Nested Learning Framework (PDCA) depicted on the left corner.

It combines a slow strategic learning loop with a fast operational PDCA loop. Both work together to close the strategy‑execution gap through continuous, layered learning.

The diagram illustrates the fundamental speed difference between the two core layers of the modern enterprise, and how they work together:

At the top: The Architecture Layer - Stability at Scale

The job of O-AA, TOGAF, and ArchiMate is to define the boundaries of the Enterprise Architecture system. This layer operates on a slow, deliberate cadence:

    • Cadence: Quarterly to Annually (the strategy/design Loop)

    • Purpose: Coherence and Compliance. They define the organizational invariants—the strategic why, the regulatory must, and the technical how (e.g., standard API patterns, security mandates, etc...).

    • Output: The Desired Future State of the Enterprise and the formal Enterprise Model to reach this state.

At the bottom :The Execution Layer- Adaptation at Light Speed

The Agentic AI layer, powered by the PDCA loop, operates inside the guardrails set by the Enterprise Architecture. This is where the speed of value delivery is generated:

    • Cadence: Sub-second to Daily (The Sensing/Decision Loop)

    • Purpose: Adaptive Optimization. The AI Agent uses the drivers of the Disruptive Digital Environment of the Enterprise as sensors to continuously measure the Reward of its Value-Centred Actions underpinned by entities of Innovation Dimensions.

    • Action: On the basis of such feedback, it performs Data Driven Value Adjustments —small, autonomous architectural changes that optimize the Value Delivery in real-time (e.g., re-routing an average performance level of products and service ratings to the customer service, dynamically re-prioritizing a development task to provide customers with more satisfaction, etc...)

The Crucial Distinction:

To make an analogy, if the Architecture designs the car (stable, safe chassis, compliant engine), the AI Agent drives the car (millisecond adjustments to steering, speed, and route based on real-time traffic).

This is the shift: Architecture is the Constraint that enables Velocity. Without the formal rigor of O-AA driven TOGAF ADM defining the Enterprise's structure, the fast-moving AI Agents would quickly spin out of control, leading to chaos and unmanageable technical debt.

Think of EA as the governance platform that gives the Agentic AI the confidence to accelerate.

Detailed Description of this course

The Open Group's O-AA concerns for the Agile and Digital Enterprise (cf.figure) helps to align enterprise's product & operations architectures to agile strategies and customer experience. The resulting architecture continuously allows the Strategy-Driven Value Delivery and Data-Driven Value Adjustment to your organization - as depicted on the right corner of the figure.

Prerequisites : Basic knowledge of ArchiMate and TOGAF ADM would be preferable but not necessary

Participant Profiles : CxO, Operation Managers, Enterprise Architects, Agile and Digital Practitioners, Business and System Analysts, and Designers

.

Part 1 : Core Elements of the AI Enabled Agile and Digital Enterprise

• This first part presents the foundation of Agile Architecture Body of Knowledge

It contains the fundamental concepts including its structure and explains :

- Why the enterprise needs to conduct a Digital and Agile Transformation,

- The Agile Architecture development,

- Intentional and Emerging Architectures,

- Architecting the Agile Transformation and Agile Governance,

- Principles for the practice of Agile Architecture explained through a case study

- The PDCA Cycle,

- The Agentic AI to enable the speed of delivery

Part 2 : Implementation of the AI Enabled Agile and Digital Architecture

•This part develops the topics introduced in the Part I in greater detail

Topics include : Modeling the Agile Strategy, Agile Organization, Enterprise Segmentation, Product Architecture, Operations Architecture, Value Streams, Product Journey, Customer Journey Mapping, Software Architecture, PDCA Cycle with the Agentic AI

It focuses on applying Agile concepts through a complete case study - from strategy settings to software boundaries to enable agile team autonomy.

Through its modeling and agile prototyping mechanisms, it bridges the critical gap between the structure of the architecture and its AI-driven dynamicity.

Advantage of taking this Training from GooBiz:

In this training you'll have the opportunity to put into practice learned concepts through an end-to-end case study on Sparx EA modeling tool from their ArchiMate specifications till Agent descriptions and execution.

Traceable models will help attendees to better understand how to implement the Agile and Digital Enterprise in a real world situation by considering the Customer Experience of the Disruptive Digital Environment as sensors

Data Feed-backs captured and analyzed in real time will continuously help to measure the reward of previous strategic operations being supported by the entities of Innovation Dimensions to dynamically enhance the Value Delivery and achieve expected client satisfaction.

Notice : Following the real-world illustrations of concepts and modelling along the first two days, the 3rd day of this training focuses on putting into practice the AI Enabled Agile and Digital Enterprise architecture on an end-to-end case study.

This last day allows you to understand how to prepare the AI- enabled agile architecture foundation to ensure alignment of Products, Services and Operations of the Organization to Strategies and Values till their software implementation.

Attendees will have the opportunity to implement during the course the Data-Driven Strategic Value Delivery Architecture using ArchiMate and UML for Data-Types on Sparx EA modeling tool and apply Agents at the Execution Layer using AI automation platform.

-The indispensable backbone of solutions with pre-built models is provided during the training to accelerate hands-on using Sparx EA modeling and execution tools.

- Desired Future State-based Models help you ensure both strategic and data-driven alignment powered by ML/RL (Reinforcement Learning) as the latter offers perfect state and reward based assessment mechanisms.
